CAPTAINS FOR LIFE
Chavez High School football team ended their season with a loss to Bellaire High School last Friday night in what most
fans would say is one of the best games the Lobos have ever played. Captains Augustine Zuniga, Genoris Tascon, and Kenneth
Howard let a 21-5A defense that was ranked as one of the highest defensive teams in the city.

Lobos Quarterback Robert Bargas has plans for the Chavez Lobos "WIN DISTRICT, GO TO THE PLAYOFFS NEXT YEAR!", the junior
quarterback is already talking to other players on the team about working out now to get ready for next year.
"As a leader on this team it is important that I get them going now if we want to win next year". The Lobos look
to run over teams that have stood in there way in the past years and make the playoffs by beating teams like Westside, Bellaire,
Madison, and Lamar. With a good off season the returning Lobos plan to make it back to the playoffs like they did
three years ago.
